To ensure your investment arrives in pristine condition, we partner with specialized global logistics providers including FedEx, DHL, and UPS for air freight, and premium freight forwarders for sea shipments.

2. International Delivery Timelines

Every piece of furniture is inspected and secured in reinforced wooden crates before dispatch.

-International Production & Handling time: 45 to 60 business days.

-International Transit Time: 45 to 60 business days 

-Total Delivery Time: 90 to 120 business days 

3. Domestic  Delivery Timelines

Every piece of furniture is inspected and secured in reinforced wooden crates before dispatch.

-Domestic Production & Handling time: 15 to 45 business days.

-Domestic Transit Time: 10 to 30  business days 

-Total Delivery Time: 25 to 75 business days 

 

4. International Customs, Duties & Taxes

Makin' it Home operates under the DAP (Delivered at Place) incoterm for international orders unless otherwise specified.

-Import Duties: Any import duties, VAT, or local taxes levied by the destination country are the responsibility of the recipient. These must be paid to the courier or customs authority to release your shipment.

-Documentation: We provide all necessary export documentation, including "Wooden Letters" and phytosanitary certifications, to ensure smooth customs clearance.

 

5. Order Tracking & Communication

Once shipped, customers will receive:

-Shipping confirmation

-Tracking details (where applicable)

-Freight coordination information for large items

 

6. Address Accuracy & Delivery Responsibility

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.

-Incorrect or incomplete addresses may cause delays or additional charges
